Signing without printing

Whichever you choose, you then drag it to the exact spot on the page and resize it with the corner handle before placing it.
Visual signature versus digital certificate
It is worth understanding the distinction. This tool adds a visual signature — an image of your signature placed on the page — which is what the vast majority of everyday documents ask for. It is not a cryptographic certificate signature, the kind that mathematically proves who signed and that the file has not changed since. Documents that require a certificate signature usually say so explicitly; for everything else, a visual signature is standard and accepted.
Your signature stays yours
A signature is sensitive — it is worth keeping off other people's servers. Pdfect creates and embeds the signature entirely in your browser, so neither the document nor your signature is uploaded or stored anywhere. It is placed onto the PDF on your device and downloaded straight back to you.

Is this a certified digital signature?

Which signature method looks best?
